Carolyn Jeanette Gardner's Obituary
Carolyn Jeanette Gardner, 78, passed away December 12, 2014. She was a music teacher in CA for 2 years and in Memphis City Schools for 30 years. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church, Daughter’s of The American Revolution and active in the local Republican Party. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester C. and Lillian M. Walker. She is survived by a son, Anthony J. E. (Stacie) Gardner, III; 1 grandson, Andrew Thomas Gardner along with many cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 17, from 5-7 pm and a funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 18 all at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, alz.org.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
