Carol Patterson Williams' Obituary
Carol Patterson Williams, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on February 8, 1946, Carol was a lifelong resident of the Arlington, TN area. She graduated from East High School in 1964 and spent much of her life raising her two daughters, Karen Smith and Wendy Eagan.
Carol was passionate about her family and friends. She always had a smile on her face and could make anyone laugh. She enjoyed riding horses and spent many happy days riding the trails with her friends. Her love of the outdoors and the simple joys of life brought warmth to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stanley Gene Williams Jr., who passed away in 2010. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Smith and Wendy Eagan, her granddaughter Peyton Smith, and her grandson Matthieu Eagan.
Carol’s family and friends will remember her for her kindness, generosity, and devotion. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Services for Carol will be held on Tuesday, March 25th, at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. A graveside ceremony will take place on Wednesday, March 26th, at 10:00 a.m. The procession will begin at the chapel and proceed to the gravesite in the Fairlawn area of Memorial Park.
