Carol Lee Sharp Bradshaw's Obituary
Carol Lee Sharp Bradshaw went to spend eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ on January 20, 2022, after a brief illness. She loved her Lord and her favorite activity was studying her Bible and telling others about His love for them!
She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, March 4, 1931, the third of four children born to Clarie Smith Sharp and Marion Sharp. After marrying Kenneth Eugene Bradshaw in 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas they eventually moved to Memphis and raised five children.
Carol was an accomplished vocalist and sung in the chorus of the Memphis Metropolitan Opera and was a professional church soloist and sang in church choirs. She was a member and worshipped at Open Door Bible Church.
After raising her children Carol was involved in many activities. She earned her WSI at Memphis State, worked as a lifeguard, and participated in synchronized swimming. She worked as a dental assistant for many years and upon retirement she was active in obedience training and competition for her much loved German Shepherds.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Eugene Bradshaw, and daughter, Susan Bradshaw Brown. She is survived by her daughter Sharyn Bradshaw Owen and her husband, Lonnie, son, Jerry Eugene Bradshaw, daughters, Debi Bradshaw Martin and Barbara Carol Bradshaw as well as seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Also preceded in death were her beloved German Shepherds Sarge, Prince and Beaux.
There will be a private family graveside service January 31, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations be made to Open Door Bible Church, 1792 North Parkway, Memphis, TN 38112.
