Carol Ann Hodge's Obituary
Mrs. Carol Ann Cooper Hodge, age 72, of Germantown, TN, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family and friends, on Thursday, December 11, 2025.
Carol was born on December 10, 1953, in Martin, TN, to William Curtis Cooper and Mary Lou Tuck Cooper.
Carol is survived by Cletus “Buddy” Hodge, her loving and devoted husband of 46 years. They have been faithful members of Hope Church in Memphis, TN.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a grandson, Cameron Russell of Knoxville, TN, two brothers, William–Toby (Starla) Cooper and Dennis (Cindy) Cooper, all of Dresden, TN, and two brothers-in-law, David Arnold of Sharon, TN, and Charles (Tonita) Hodge of Blenheim, SC. She was “Aunt Carol” to several nieces and nephews and enjoyed a special bond with her twin nieces, Candace Cooper Allman and Dena Cooper Carter.
Carol was a 1971 graduate of Martin Westview High School. She was a Westview cheerleader and was proud to cheer on a 42-game winning streak for the Charger football team. She has always been a proud Charger!
She was a career-minded and accomplished individual whose professional life was marked by success in banking, finance, and design. She and her husband, Buddy, began the JCB Enterprises, LLC, and Lodging Designs Resources, in which she was able to use her flair for design.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jason Lee Russell, her sister, Betty Cooper Arnold, and her sister-in-law, Helen Hodge.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Memphis Union Mission, Baptist Reynolds Hospice House, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
