She was raised in Memphis and graduated from Oakhaven High School in 1972. Her childhood was grounded in her love of her family and her faith in God where she was Baptized at a young age at Covenant Presbyterian Church. She had a special bond with her sisters that were commonly known to others as “The Marberry Girls.” Her relationship with her sisters was a bond that was built and strengthened by many family gatherings, births of nieces and nephews , sister lunches, shopping, and countless phone calls.

Their life together was spent surrounded by family and lifelong friends in Memphis as well as Springfield, OH that have remained a part of their lives. She had several jobs throughout her life and ultimately retired as a courier for FedEx.
She loved her family, friends, music, concerts, shopping, butterflies, the colors yellow and blue, and making others feel special in any way she could, and she deeply valued others that were honest, genuine, and would “look her square in the eyes.” Carol was blessed to have the love of many special fur babies throughout her life including JoJo, Dobie, CJ, Sony, Tippy, and Casey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnny Grehan, and her sister Janet Dellinger.
