Caren C. Adams' Obituary
Caren Cole Adams, age 68, died July 2, 2018, after a brief illness. She was born November 14, 1949, in Paris, TN to Dorothy Lowe and Ardelle E. Cole. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lloyd S. Adams, III; daughters, Anne Hill (Sommerville) and Catherine Smith (Alan); and grandsons, Adams Hill and Clayton Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Cole Harrison Smith. Caren believed and often said that her life’s greatest achievements were her two successful daughters. She particularly enjoyed international travel and meeting her airline pilot husband in cities around the world. She had a true talent for flower arranging which she used to express her love and care for family and friends. Her faith in God sustained her and provided strength and comfort until the end of her life. The family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m. and a service celebrating her life will follow at 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 6 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral or National Foundation for Transplants.
