CAMILLE VIRGINIA JORDAN, 80 passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2013. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 60 years, Lloyd, daughters Paula Lutts (Robert), Ginny Jordan of Memphis, TN, sons Albert (Marcia) of Virginia Beach, VA, Paul (Kelley) of Memphis, TN and Robert (Missy) from Arlington, TN; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation, 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 20 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Service is at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, November 21 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, (901)767-8930, “Behind the Stone Wall”.Lloyd and Camille celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on June 6th. As Lloyd’s gift to his wife, mother to their children, and his best friend, he was Baptized Tuesday, November 23rd. Soon after, he wants to receive the sacraments of communion, and confirmation to officially become a Catholic. Lloyd wants to fulfill his promise to Camille and his 5 children. Their oldest daughter, Paula, talked to her priest he graciously agreed to do when Camille was feeling better. Also, Lloyd is placing a “pall’ on the casket for Camille. It is a Catholic tradition representing “equalness in the Church”. In closing, Lloyd and Camille created a prayer together. They held hands and included it with their daily meal prayers.“God, grant us the strength, energy, courage, knowledge, desire, patience, love, understanding, and the communication ability to deal with everyday life.”In lieu of sending flowers, the family asks that you make a donation, in Camille’s memory, to one of the two organizations below.
