Bryan Thompson's Obituary
Bryan Douglas Thompson, 54 years old of Memphis, passed away Thursday morning, August 23, 2012 at Methodist Hospital Germantown after a long illness. Mr. Thompson was a 1976 graduate of Memphis University School and attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Mr. Thompson was owner of the former Thompson Gallery in Germantown, TN. He was a member of Kingsway Christian Church, an avid golfer and was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his mother, Gail Thompson, of Memphis, his two brothers, Steven R. Thompson, Sr. (Elizabeth), of Memphis and Robert “Bob” Frank Thompson, III, of Little Rock, AR. Surviving nieces and nephews are Steven Jr., Christopher and Katherine Thompson of Memphis and Clayton, Mason and Natalie Thompson of Little Rock. Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his father, Robert Frank Thompson, Jr. Visitation will be 10:30-12 p.m., Saturday, August 25 at Memorial Park Funeral Home followed by graveside services at 2 p.m. in Halls Cemetery, Halls, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Church Health Center, Memphis University School or Kingsway Christian Church.
