Bruce Hallmann's Obituary
Charles Bruce Hallmann, 73, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at his home in Germantown. Mr. Hallmann was retired from Illinois Central Railroad (“ICRR”) and currently the Senior Vice President of Sales at Cornerstone Systems. He graduated in 1956 from Bloom High School in Chicago, IL and then 1960 from Miami University in Oxford, OH and immediately began his career with ICRR. Mr. Hallmann is survived by his wife, Kathy Walker Hallmann; three sons, Kent Hallmann of Dallas, TX, Kevin Hallmann (Dianne) and Craig Hallmann both of Germantown; sister, Elizabeth Ann Kenny of IL; and three grandchildren Laura Prosise, Kelley Hallmann, and Chad Hallmann. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 15 and the funeral service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 16 all at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Variety Children’s Charities, 1648 Sycamore View Road Memphis, TN 38134, Brookside Baptist Church, 4993 Highway 302 East Olive Branch, MS 38654, or the charity of the donors choice.
