As one of his grandsons, I will always remember the many spiritually, meaningful, and heartfelt prayers and blessings delivered at services, gatherings and especially at the dinner table. The smiles and joy that my grandad possessed immediate rubbed off on anyone that was in his presence. The whimsical songs and tunes he would always sing were taken strait out of a page of history. I will always remember when hearing them, I felt as if I transferred to another place and time. These are just a few of many memories I will cherish when I think about my amazing late Granddaddy Crill.I love you, and will miss you. Your loving Grandson, Nicholas Alton Belote

Ken and Judi: Bruce and I shared a delightful week, July 23-28, 1961, when he conducted a revival at the Moscow Methodist Church where I was pastor. I yielded my parsonage bedroom to him because it was larger but I left my clothes in that bedroom closet. He hung his clothes in it also. During an early morning service, I noticed that my coat felt quite large on my 38 regular body. I discovered i had mistakenly worn Bruce’s size 42 coat to the service! Judi and Ken – I just showed the video to cousin Patsy (as Bruce called her) and she started telling me about Bruce’s first church in Tennessee and how they all went there for Chrismas and the weather was really bad but he was a wonderful speaker. Bruce was very special to all of us in the Harris family and we had some wonderful times– he gave us great comfort – at my husband Sam’s funeral and a happy occasion of Julie and John’s wedding. Pat is not able to travel but wants you all to know how much she loved her cousin Bruce.

Miss Nora May always made us feel welcome. My Dad, Bobby Joe Smith, would remark often how your Dad had skill as a church builder.
