Brodie Kilpatrick's Obituary
Brodie Kilpatrick, was born on January 15, 1917 in rural West TN. He passed away on October 26,2009 in Marietta, GA after a short illness.He retired from Memphis Publishing Company in 1980 after 34 yrs with Memphis Press Scimitar. He proudly served in WW II in 117th Army Infantry, known as the Break Through Regiment.He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Mildred Hatley Kilpatrick; daughter and son-in-law Charlotte and Roger Fiveash of Roswell, GA; daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Eddie Gay of Nashville, TN; and his grandchildren, Kirby Fiveash and Tamara Watkins of Roswell, GA, and Phillip Benceil and Stacy Gay of Memphis, TN; as well as seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 45 yrs, Wylodean King Kilpatrick.A visitation will be held Friday, October 30 from 1:00-2:30, the funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the Fireside Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
