Bridgette Lachelle Hunter's Obituary
Bridgette Lachelle Hunter was born October 30th, 1964, to the union of Retha J. and Ollie D. Lowe. She was born in the neighborhood of Binghamton and raised in Westwood in Memphis, TN.
Bridgette accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, where she was later Baptized. Bridgette received her formal education at Hillcrest High School. She was voted as one of Hillcrest Best Looking Students in the graduating class of 1982.
Shortly after Bridgette began her career with Shelby County Government as a Corrections Deputy. She birthed two children (Britney and Leon). Bridgette enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, dining at her favorite restaurant Carrabba’s and hanging with friends and family.
Bridgette is survived by her two children, Britney and Leon; six grandchildren, Aria, Harmony, Heaven, Avery, Jayla, and Layla; two sisters, Tracy and Tandi; two brothers, Gregory and Christopher; and a host of friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Hope Church. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at Hope Church with burial to immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery.
