Brent Christopher Hines, 34, of Germantown, Tennessee departed from this life on February 3, 2022. He was a devoted husband, son, son-in law, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 27, 1987, Brent graduated from Walton High School in 2005, where he played baseball on a championship team. He then attended Auburn University, where he was a member of Chi Phi fraternity. After graduating from Auburn in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, he furthered his education at Kennesaw State University, graduating with a Master of Business Association in 2011.
Brent relocated to Memphis, Tennessee in 2012 to begin his career with First Tennessee Bank. He met and later married the love of his life, Margaret (Maggie) Joyce Hines, in Memphis on April 28, 2018. Brent went on to hold several finance and accounting positions at companies across the city.
In addition to his wife, Brent leaves behind his parents, Phyllis and Robert Hines of Villa Rica, Georgia, his mother and father in law, Patrick and Margaret Joyce of Germantown, Tennessee, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in law, sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In his spare time, Brent could often be found playing golf at Windyke Country Club, where he was the President’s Cup 2014 Champion, working out at the gym, tinkering on his beloved Mustang, or spending time with his family, friends, and dogs. He will be remembered for his love of sports, in particular his Auburn Tigers, and his kind, stoic nature.
Visitation will occur on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow.
