Brenda Sue Bass McPherson's Obituary
Brenda Sue Bass McPherson, 59, of Southaven, MS went to sleep surrounded in love and awoke in the arms of Jesus on May 1, 2018. Brenda is survived by her beloved children, John Robert and Jessica Sue McPherson; her brother Bill Bass (Lonnie); her sister, Eileene Ault (Dave); her favorite niece, Darleene Davis (Chris), and nephew, Kevin McDonald. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Earlene Bass and sister, Nadine Bass Mitchell. She was an activist and champion for battered and drug addicted women. Her social work with these women saved and changed many lives. Although Brenda has left her earthly vessel she continues to change the lives of people. She was the pebble in the pond and the ripples continue to flow out. Thank you, Spring Valley Hospice, especially Bridgette and Antoinette for your tender loving care. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Friday, May 4, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:30 pm, Saturday, May 5 also at Memorial Park.
