Brandy Taylor Blank's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brandy Taylor Blank, who departed on October 31, 2023, at the age of 50. Brandy leaves behind her four children, Adelaide (22), Thomas (21), Ella (19), and Carter (17). She was born on October 11, 1973, in Jackson, Tennessee, to her loving parents, Thomas and Deborah DeLoach. Brandy also leaves behind her beloved brother, Shawn.
After graduating from Northside High School in 1992, Brandy pursued her passion for helping others, receiving her undergraduate degree from Union University and went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Memphis. As a pediatric speech language pathologist, she made a significant impact on the lives of the children she worked with, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and care.
Brandy was a devoted mother to her four children, always going above and beyond to make sure they felt loved and cherished. Her passion for celebration was not only on big milestones and holidays; she made every day special. She was an active member of her community, dedicating her time to the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) at Dogwood Elementary School, where she enhanced the educational experiences of the students. Brandy was known for her warm hospitality, organizing gatherings for her children's friends and school organizations, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
A long-time member of Grace Evangelical Church, Brandy shared her faith through teaching Sunday School and volunteering at Vacation Bible School. Her commitment to her church community was a testament to her strong values and unwavering belief.
In her moments of relaxation, Brandy found solace by the beach and pool, indulging in her love for reading. Her ability to bring people together, her generosity, and her kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Brandy Blank's legacy of love and service will continue to inspire us all. May she rest in peace, and may her family and friends find comfort in the cherished memories they shared with her.
Memorial Services to be held this Friday, November 3rd at Harvest Church.
Visitation from 11:30am-12:30pm, Service at 12:30pm in the Harvest Chapel.
