I just heard this morning from Amy that my cousin Higgins had passed away. ( I always thought of him as an uncle.) I will miss him terribly. He was such a special person in so many ways. He was certainly one of a kind. I know that this is a huge loss for all. I will not be able to attend the services tomorrow, but will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. The picture of him is very good. (He surely looks like a Higgins in that one, just like my Daddy and Tolley.) Joyce Henderson, cousin Mount Juliet

Ditto. I also met Mr Edwards 30 yrs ago. I was around 18 yrs old and just starting in the car business. I feel like I grew up with Mr. Edwards. We’ve missed him every week for the past few months and pray for peace and comfort for his family during this time.

I met Mr. Edwards about 34 years ago. He was the sweetest and most caring man I have ever known. He was a genuine man with a great big heart. I know how much he loved his wife, daughter, sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was very proud of each of you. I always enjoyed his visits each week even if I was swamped with work and would chill and chat with him about everything under the sun. He always had a smile on his face regardless of his health conditions. Thank you Dot and your family for sharing a special man with me and my family. Rest in peace Mr. Edwards.
