Bradford H. Rice's Obituary
Bradford H. Rice, 97 of Memphis passed away June 14, 2016. He was born December 5, 1918 in New Haven, CT and graduated from Yale University in 1941. He served in the 45th Field Artillery Bn./8th Inf. Division during WWII. He worked 24 years with International Trade Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce in Memphis. After retiring he worked with International Enterprises, Nile imports and was a Memphis representative for Language Services. He volunteered with Memphis In May from 1977-1990 and was a member, past president and director for Mid-South Exporters Roundtable. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Grace Burnette. He is survived by his children Alan E. Rice of Memphis, TN and Barbara Burnett of Montpelier, VT. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 18 from 12-2 pm and a graveside service will immediately follow with U.S. Army honors at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar, Memphis, TN 38119. “Celebrating Life…..Behind the Stone Wall”.
