Bonnie Patterson Pryor's Obituary
Bonnie Patterson Pryor, 79, of Southaven, MS passed away peacefully and went to be with The Lord on May 12, 2026 at Methodist Germantown Hospital with her family at her bedside.
Born on October 1, 1946 in Memphis, TN, the elder daughter to Ernest and Dorothy Patterson, she was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 40+ years, Oliver Pryor and her sister, Tina Autry (Charles); and her three sons, Billy, Stephen and Michael all of Memphis. Bonnie, “Nie”, was the doting grandmother to Katelyn (husband Tucker), Collin, Jack and Elisabeth and to her niece, Allison and grandnephew, Hamilton, and her great-grandson, Wells (Katelyn and Tucker).
She worked many years for BlueCross Blue Shield where she processed claims and complaints for customers and physicians long before computers, the internet and AI.
Bonnie’s expertise in the kitchen created a devoted following for her homemade chicken salad, chocolate sheet cakes and chess pies.
Bonnie had a wonderful sense of humor and her laughter and smile were contagious. She prayed diligently for her family and was always there to provide comfort and wisdom.
A private family graveside service is planned.
