Bonnie Presley Harris' Obituary
Bonnie Marie Presley Harris, 84 of Oakland, Tennessee passed away on April 18, 2026, in Collierville, Tennessee.
Bonnie was born August 3, 1941, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Howard Stanley Presley and Hortense Naomi Gatlin Presley.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Al Harris; one sister, Marilyn Estes of Sheridan, Arkansas; one brother, Richard Presley (Joann) of Bartlett, Tennessee.
Bonnie was a devoted wife to her husband Al Harris, they spent 50 years together enjoying their time traveling in their motorhome. Bonnie was a proud aunt to five nieces and nephews: each one having a special place in their heart for their Aunt Bonnie.
Bonnie attended Southside High School in Memphis, Tennessee. She enjoyed keeping in touch with her classmates throughout the years and attended many Southside reunions. After high school Bonnie became a hair stylist. She built her career of thirty-eight years with skill, creativity and genuine care for others. She eventually owned and managed her own salon, Robert’s Hair Fashion in Memphis, Tennessee.
Bonnie had a deep love for her family and friends. Her kind and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her brother, Howard (Howie) Stanely Presley, Jr. and brother-in-law, Emitt Estes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Services for Bonnie will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 1:00 pm in the Fireside Chapel. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the services, beginning at 12:00 pm.
Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery.
