I was looking for my darling, sweet old high school friend, Bonnie, and had no idea she had passed. I am just heartsick for her family. She was just a wonderful friend who made high school and the years after when we kept in touch so fun. Bonnie was one of a kind in all the best ways. She was such a blessing to me and a true friend. What a delightful, dear one you have lost. I am so very sorry.

I wish that I had gotten the chance to meet Bonnie. I have interacted with Bonnie for years over our love for the TV show LOST. I know today will be a day of tears, and I’m so sorry for your loss. Bonnie was such a kind and generous person, and it’s so unfair that she’s gone.Once this day is over, however, I want you to know that all these “strangers” you’re hearing from today, people she’s encouraged and supported online and in person around the world for years, will never forget her affect on us. Her unfailing enthusiasm and positivity, her knack for perfect timing — right when we desperately needed a kind word, she was there — will never leave us.Personally, Bonnie was a bright spark of happiness right when I was at my darkest moments. I was alone and afraid and discouraged. She helped my heart refuse to be defeated — more than once. I’m eternally grateful.When I leave this earth, if I’ve done half the good Bonnie’s done during her life, I’ll still consider myself less than worthy. I’ll never stop trying, though, to be more like her: loving, excited, committed, consistent and always thinking of the happiness of others while expecting nothing back.Today, our hearts are broken with yours. Bonnie (or “Little Bonnie”, as we liked to call her) has always been so giving with her love and friendship. Her generosity knew no bounds and I feel so blessed to have had her in my life. We met online thru the LOSTARGS website. Over the years I’ve come to think of her as family, like many of my other LOSTie friends. I loved her enthusiasm for all the nerdy things we were into. Bonnie was a close friend whom I adored. She would always brighten my day with her compassion and kind heart. Our love for the television show LOST brought us together. The show inspired us. As inspiring as LOST was to me, Bonnie’s love of life and her generosity is the ultimate inspiration. I’m so glad to have known this kind soul. I don’t think I’ve ever met a more generous person. She would always send me things in the mail and to her other friends. In a world where words seem to be more important, Bonnie spoke with her actions. She showed people how much she loved them. I’m extremely thankful that she was a part of my life. I will always remember her. Thank you Bonnie – for everything you ever did for me. I will love you always.
