Bobby Gene Weakley's Obituary
BOBBY GENE WEAKLEY, 79, of Bartlett, TN, died May 21, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis. He was retired from sales and was an amateur artist. Mr. Weakley was an Army veteran, a former Memphis Golden Gloves Boxing Champion and was inducted into Memphis Amateur Sports Hall of Fame. The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, May 22 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 23 at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. He leaves his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Williams Weakley; sons, Mark Weakley of Phoenix, AZ, Mitchell (Frankie) Weakley of Bartlett, TN, Scott (Pam) Weakley of Cordova, TN; sister, Maxine Weakley Wallace of Salina, KS; brother, Jack (Helen) Weakley of Memphis, TN; John (Janie) Weakley of Arlington, TN; grandchildren, Christopher (Stephanie) Weakley, Nicholas Leonard, Erica Weakley, Blake Leonard, Justin Weakley, Nicholas Weakley; great-grandson, Landon Weakley; many beloved nieces and nephews and Susan Dunlop.
