Bobby Edwards' Obituary
BOBBY EDWARDS, 73, died January 1, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital – Bartlett. Mr. Edwards was a member of Bartlett Hills Baptist Church, formerly involved in Boy Scouts Troop 20 in Memphis and Tropp 55 in Union City, former coach at the Boy’s Club of America as well as numerous youth leagues. He was a former business owner of MidSouth Tool Supply. Since retirement, he loved driving the school buses for Shelby County Schools. He also loved watching his grandkids play sports. He was preceded in death by his wife. He leaves two daughters, JoAnne Shemwell (Tony) of Eads, TN and Ericka Ramage (Gene) of Cordova, TN; one son, Tommy Edwards (Shawn) of Atoka; his mother, George L. Hudgins and her husband, Louis; one sister, Margaret Zuendel; two brothers, Wayde Edwards and Lynn Alford; seven grandchildren, Justin, Christopher, Alexandra, Brock, Braylin, Branden and Laney. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 4, from 5-8 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
