Bobby Joe Caruth's Obituary
Bobby Joe Caruth, 81, passed away July 28, 2015, at Baptist Desoto Hospital. He retired from FAA after 40 years of faithful service as a Radar Technician. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Air Force. Bob loved his Country, family, friends, fishing, Grizzles basketball, Tennesse Vols and Dallas Cowboys, trivia, music, dancing and the show cops. He was a person full of life and happiness. Bob never met a stranger, and was such a giving and loving person. Mr. Caruth was preceded in death by his parents, Paul S. Caruth Sr. and Clara E. Caruth, his brother Paul S. Caruth Jr., and a loving wife Dot Caruth. He is survived by his childeren: Linda Phillips of Escondido, CA, Angela Hazel (Dan) of Escondido, CA, Alan Caruth (Beverly) of Memphis, TN, Paula Lawler of Cordova, TN and Brian Caruth (Meloney) of Southaven, MS, his grandchildren: Timothy Wadkins, Leeann Munzo, Craig Timmons, Chris Timmons, Britney Pollard, Alyssa Caruth, Grady Caruth, and Kyndell Caruth, as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He was truly loved and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday, July 30 and there will be funeral services at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 31 all at Memorial Park Funeral Home.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall”
