Bobby Gene Broughton's Obituary
Bobby Broughton, age 82, of Millington, Tennessee, formerly of Brighton, passed away surrounded by love and family. He was born to Aubrey Wilson Broughton and Elsie Norrel Isome, who instilled in him the values of hard work, kindness, and family—principles he carried throughout his life.
Bobby worked for many years as a journeyman meat cutter as well as a salesman for TN Pride. He later served as a project foreman and superintendent at Juba Aluminum for several years and eventually owned and managed several rental properties.
He had a deep love for the outdoors—fishing, hunting, and finding peace in nature. He had a special bond with animals and a particular fondness for hummingbirds.
Known for his big heart, warm smile, and remarkable ability to fix anything, Bobby never met a stranger. He was a source of strength, laughter, and comfort to everyone he knew—always ready with a joke, a hug, or a helping hand.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Broughton; his children: Steve Broughton, LeeAnn Hinkley, Debbie Johnson, and Cheryl Broughton; six cherished grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Bobby is also survived by his brother, Aubrey E. “Buster” Broughton. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Patsy Dungy and Althea Higgins.
Bobby’s memory lives on in the countless lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.
Forever loved. Deeply missed.
