Bobby U. Barclay's Obituary
Bobby Ullman Barclay, 70, of Collierville, passed away on October 26, 2011, at his home with his family by his side after a yearlong battle with lung cancer. He was born to the late James Ullman and Vere Greer Barclay. He was also predeceased by his three brothers, James Edmond, Lars Dale, and William Terry Barclay, all of Clinton, KY. Mr. Barclay is survived by his loving family including his wife of 42 years, Pennie Newman Barclay; and three sons, Ken (Karen) Martin, Olive Branch; Steve (Chris) Martin, Memphis; and Barry Barclay, Los Angeles, CA; as well as four grandchildren, Dustin, McKensie, Cooper and Molly Martin; and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Gavin Martin. Bob enjoyed a lifelong career in the tire industry, earning the respect of his peers and a reputation for unsurpassed integrity culminating as a Regional Sales Manager for Alliance Tire Americas, Inc. He considered his customers and associates to be some of his closest friends. Services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. with entombment in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
