I've known this woman since I was seven years old!! When I heard about the news of her passing, my heart broke. It just didn't seem real to me. Ms. Bobbi was always in good spirits, always checking in on us, concerned about us, her church family, and always sending her love to us when she couldn't be with us at the church. I do remember when she did come to our little church so often, she would be the very first person I'd hug if at that! She sat right behind me at church and I remember her words so vividly, let me get my hug. She had something nice to say about me. About you. She always wanted a hug from me, never wanting to go without one. I enjoyed it as much!!
One eating Sunday , when I was about eight years old, I was eating spaghetti during lunch time and she sat with us and the way I was slurping my spaghetti she had a good kick about it! I remember that small laugh! I knew she enjoyed seeing me and my brothers grow up. I had visited her one day at her house and I got a hug from her then too. Whenever we were around, she'd enjoy every bit of it, and visiting her at the "home" she lived at in her last days, I didn't want to leave yet. She would show us what she would do there, such as painting, playing games, etc.. missed her when she wouldn't be at church.
God bless you and keep you, Ms. Bobbi
