Bob Ray Young's Obituary
Bob R. Young, 60, lost his three-year battle to ALS on Friday, May 8. Born and raised in Memphis, Bob graduated from White Station High School in 1972 and obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Memphis State University (MSU). His 30-year career was spent as Coordinator, Student Activities Council, then Facilities and Scheduling Coordinator, Campus Recreation Intramurals Services at MSU/The University of Memphis. He also modeled for Trends, Robbins, and Colors, Inc. agencies. Bob loved his family above all else, followed very closely by fishing and Memphis Tiger Basketball. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Suellen; two sons, Blake (Kim) and Grant (David); four brothers, Ainslie (Judy), Alan (Patricia), Roy (Lynda), Larry (Peggy); one sister, Lorell Sudderth (Ralph); one grandson, Jake, and several nieces and nephews.
