Billye Jo Doyle's Obituary
Billye Jo Hampton Doyle of Olive Branch, Mississippi passed away peacefully at her home in Olive Branch, MS on July 20, 2023, and went to be with her Lord. She was 90 years of age. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred L. Doyle. She leaves behind her two sons, James H. Doyle of Little Rock, AR (wife Karla), and John A. Doyle of Memphis, TN (wife Lynn), as well as three grandchildren: James M. Doyle of Glen Ridge, NJ (wife Anna), Katie R. Thomas of Maumelle, AR (husband Dustin), and Bennett H. Doyle of Memphis, TN (wife Kara). She also leaves behind four great-grandchildren: Rose Doyle and Alice Doyle of Glen Ridge, NJ and Noah Doyle and Miles Doyle of Memphis, TN… all of whom she adored.
She will be buried with her husband at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis, TN. Funeral arrangements are not yet complete.
She also leaves behind many dear friends from Cedar View Baptist Church of Olive Branch, MS where she was a member, and many friends from Mountain View, AR where she lived after her retirement from Kellwood Company in McComb, MS, where she was an account representative.
Mrs. Doyle was also preceded in death by her parents, William Riley Hampton and Ester Ruth Ford, as well as two sisters she loved – Jean Thompson of Greenville, MS (husband Frank) and Clara Looney of Lake Dallas, TX (husband Henry). She was also loved by and leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, including Jackie Thompson, Bob Looney, Lisa Brown, Teresa Peck, Alice Wozniak and Sarah Jones, as well as her brother-in-law, Bunn E. Doyle.
She was blessed and cared for by her dear neighbors and friends, Paul and Emily Payne of Olive Branch, MS.
Mrs. Doyle loved her Lord Jesus Christ, and spent time daily in His Word. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be made to Cedar View Baptist Church, 3300 Highway 305 N, Olive Branch, MS, 38654.
A Graveside Service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, on Friday, August 4, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.
