Billy "Bill" Joe Horne's Obituary
Billy Joe Horne, 89, passed away on December 10, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Martha, daughter, Sheri Biffle, son, Russell Horne, sister, Wanda H. Stivers, granddaughters, Ashley Byrom (Colt), Allison and Michele Horne and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents, Curry and Faye Horne, brother, Buddy Horne and his granddaughter, Sarah Katharine Biffle. Bill served in WWII as a Navy Corpman. He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, East Memphis Exchange Club and was a volunteer for Special Cargo. He was a manager with Securities Investment Corporation and retired as Vice President from General Innkeeping Acceptance Corporation, a subsidiary of Holiday Inn. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 14 from 1:00-2:00PM with a graveside service to follow immediately. All services will be held at Memorial Park.
