Billy Murry Collier's Obituary
Billy Collier went home to be with his Heavenly Father on June 25, 2024.
He was born on October 6, 1937 in Ripley, Mississippi to Ernest John and Sarah Angeline Collier.
Together, with his beloved wife, Sarah (Pat), he raised three children: Loyd (Debbie) Collier, Lisa (Bill) Fair and Karen (Bruce) Wills.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. His hobbies and interests in life were rich and varied. Among his many gifts, he was a talented bowler, framer of pictures, wood carver, leathersmith and photographer. He was an avid reader and loved books. He developed and encouraged this love in his children and grandchildren. He loved nature, wildlife and cultivating the earth to produce beauty.
He is predeceased in death by his wife, Pat, his parents, Ernest and Sarah, and his sisters, Ernestine and Frances.
His memory will be forever held in the hearts of his surviving family: his son Loyd (Debbie), his daughters Lisa (Bill), Karen (Bruce), his grandchildren Alexandria, Heather, Lauren and Michelle (Alex), great grandchildren Lucas and Mason and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be loved and missed every minute until we see him again.
Services for Billy will be held privately.
