It is the celebration of Billy Franklin Byassee’s life that each of us who knew him carry forward into our own lives to deliver comfort to each other. Bill’s favorite hymn was How Great Thou Art. The lyrics, When Christ shall come, with shouts of acclamation, and take me home, what joy shall fill my heart. Then I shall bow, in humble adoration, and then proclaim: “My God, how great Thou art!” these lyrics filled heaven when Bill passed from this life to his eternal life!
John 14: 1-3 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God: believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am” (NIV). There will be a graveside service for Bill at 10am at Forrest Hill South for those who wish to attend.
