Billie Burge Beasley's Obituary
Billie Burge Beasley, 81, passed away October 21, 2013. Mrs. Beasley was born September 13, 1932 to Clarence and Clara Burge in Hattiesburg, MS. Billie is preceded in death by her husband Robert O. Beasley. She leaves her three children Robert W. Beasley (Marilyn) of Olive Branch, MS, Calvin O. Beasley (Bobbie) of Knoxville, TN, and Missey Beasley Hayes (Terry) of Memphis, TN. She was an amazing grandmother to Hunter Beasley, Gavin Beasley, Patrick O’Toole Beasley, Margaret O’Toole Beasley, Claire Hayes and Morgan Hayes and her great grandchildren Madeleine Beasley and Lyla Beasley. Billie is the former owner of Something Special in Columbia, MS, and a former realtor. Mrs. Beasley was known for her excellent cooking, especially her caramel cake. She enjoyed sewing and perfected the art of machine embroidering. But her true love was spending time with her friends and family. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church.
