Billie B. Bryant, Born September 16, 1930 in Ripley, Mississippi. Died December 6, 2014. Predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth C. Bryant, and her son, Steven Scott Bryant, parents, Lindsey and Roxie Barkley, and brothers, James T. (Jimmy) Barkley and Wally Lindsey (Lindsey) Barkley, Sr. Survived by a son, Kenneth M. Bryant (Graham) and three grand-children, Elizabeth Grace (Betsy) Bryant, Kenneth Mark (Mark) Bryant, Jr., and Alexander Hoffman (Alex) Bryant, all of Nashville, Tennessee. Mrs. Bryant graduated from Blue Mountain College. She was an active member of Ridgeway Baptist Church in Memphis, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a collector of cut glass, antiques and Beanie Babies. A visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, located at 5668 Poplar Ave., at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014; funeral services following at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park. Memorial gifts may be made to the Ridgeway Baptist Church at 2500 Ridgeway Road, Memphis, Tennessee 38119.
