Bill E. Goodwin's Obituary
Bill E. Goodwin, 84, of Eads, TN died Tuesday, July 3, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lou Goodwin, Daughter, Seneca Carol Goodwin Morris (Billy), of Lakeland, TN, Grand-Daughter, Kira Nichelle Willis of Lakeland, TN., six nieces and two nephews, several great nieces and nephews and a host of friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his Brother, Floyd Goodwin, his parents Phillip and Mary Goodwin. He was a graduate of Tech High School in Memphis and attended Memphis State University, where he injured his hands during a chemistry experiment explosion. He endured countless surgeries and rehabilitation, but he never let that stop him. He went on to become a successful businessman. Despite his injury, he had the most beautiful handwriting. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Fisherville, where he was on the maintenance committee. There was nothing that he couldn’t do in construction. He could design and build anything.
