Beverly "Bell" Marie Williams' Obituary
Beverly "Bell" Marie Wade Williams was born on March 20, 1951 to the late Jane Alice Wade and Hamp Wadley. She ascended to heaven to be with her Heavenly Father on March 4, 2022.
At an early age, Beverly accepted Christ. She became a lifetime public servant to her family, friends, church and community during her promise of three scores and ten. After graduating from Booker T Washington High School, Beverly attended Lemoyne-Owen College. She graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She served the next 46 years of her life as a social worker. During this time, she received numerous accolades and honors from various organizations.
In 1973, Beverly was united in holy matrimony to the late Gerald Vincent Williams and to this union they had three beautiful children; Chandra, Kenya and Geralynn. She was a dedicated mother and servant to family members and the community.
Beverly was preceded in death by five sisters, Ouida Lewis, Albertina Harvey, Sally Wadley, Beauluh Wadley and Catherine Wadley and four brothers, Walter Wadley, James Wadley, Earnest Wadley, and Alfred Wadley. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Chandra Wiseman, Kenya Williams Johnson (Clarence) and Geralynn Williams; two sisters, Maxine Nolan and Kathy Wade; one brother, Alora H. Wade; one granddaughter, Kiarra "Katie" Parks; three grandsons, Courtney Whitaker, Jalen Hill and Joshua Lee; two great granddaughters, Zoe Whitaker and Kodi Whitaker and a host of relatives, friends and neighbors who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home 5668 Poplar Ave Memphis, Tennessee 38119.
