Beverly Welch's Obituary
Beverly H. Welch, 82, passed away on February 2, 2026, in Germantown, Tennessee. She was born March 24, 1943, in Holcomb, Missouri.
Mrs. Welch was a graduate of Messick High School, Class of 1961. After attending business college, she began a long career with Shelby County Schools, working at Shadowlawn Middle School until her retirement. She was married to John Doyle Welch, Jr., and they shared 41 years of marriage together. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Carla Dirmann, and one son, Ronald Brown, both of Oxford, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Lolene Hale of Memphis, Tennessee, and two sisters, Shirley Lemm and Alice Morrow, both of Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Welch will be remembered by her family and friends for her years of dedication to her work and the love she shared with those closest to her.
Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2026 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38119.
