Bettye Sue Overman Baugh's Obituary
Bettye Sue Overman Baugh, 73, of Memphis, TN, died on Monday, July 13, 2015, at the MED after a short illness. Bettye, a daughter of Benjamin Henley and Bessie Williams Overman, was born at Caraway, AR, on Aug. 12, 1941. She was a graduate of Caraway High School and retired from Sears in Memphis. She was an avid shopper, computer game-player, and unofficial liaison for the entire Overman family.She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William Dwain Baugh, of the home; 2 sisters, Darlene Watkins of Jonesboro, and Patsy Kell (Charles) of Joelton, TN; 3 brothers, Ben Overman (Pat) of Jonesboro, Jerry Overman (Linda) of Conway, Roger Overman (Debbie) of Caraway; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Oberla Schmidt, Mealese Alexander, Elouise Fires, and Janis DuBois. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, August 1, at the United Methodist Church in Caraway, AR. The family will receive visitors from 12:30 pm until time for the memorial.
