Bettye Beloate's Obituary
Bettye Jo “Granny” Beloate, age 84, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother and friend, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 peacefully at her home with her wonderful husband and caregiver by her side in Atoka, Tennessee. Bettye Jo was born on September 5, 1934 in Obion, Tennessee to Mary “Myrtle” Owen Taylor and Ollie Taylor, who have both preceded her in death, along with her first husband, William H. Willer. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Robert L. Beloate, and three children and their spouses: Brad Willer (Charlesa) (Duncan, OK); Michelle “Shelly” Millner (Rick) (Brighton, TN); and Keith Willer (Melanie) (Rossville, TN) and step-daughter: Marcia Beloate (Atoka, TN); She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; Erik Willer (Treasure) and Darain, Marisa, Kylie, Reagan (Duncan, OK); Chelsea Adams (Garett) and Blaiden Timmins and Caseley Adams; Amanda Montalvo (Simon) and Damon Dillon; David Kane (Heather) and Zoe, Dobhlain, Declan, and Eaman (Brighton, TN); Jennifer Gimenez (Hernan) and Evan and Gracie (Eads, TN); Christopher Willer (Nicole) and Carson (Memphis, TN); Jake Willer (Audra) (Memphis, TN); Casey Willer (Stephanie) (Johnson City, TN) and Nathan Willer (Knoxville, TN). Mrs. Beloate was retired from Majestic Communications and RCA where she was a supervisor in electronics for many years. Upon her retirement, she spent many years with her husband, children and grandchildren and was a true follower of her Lord and Savior. A former member of Southland Baptist Church, and later, Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, she attended until her health would no longer allow her to attend. She extended grace to all of those who knew her and always had a smile to offer and kind word to say about her love for the Lord. Her legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and her loving spouse, who cared for her until the very end. Visitation will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis, TN from 12N – 1 p.m. CT on Sunday, March 3, 2019 with the service immediately following visitation at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of your choice.
