Betty Y. Randles' Obituary
Betty Y. Randles, 90, passed away December 19, 2017. She was born June 20, 1927 in Des Moines, Iowa. She married her late husband of 52 years on New Year’s Eve, 1943. She was a member of First Federated Church, Des Moines, Iowa. Mrs. Randles enjoyed playing piano and bridge and spending time with her family and friends. She was one of five children and was the last surviving sibling. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Vegors (Richard) of Mesa, Arizona; son, John A. Randles, III (Di) of Germantown, Tennessee; grandchildren, Bruce Irelan (Brenda) and their children, Ajay and Samantha of Winterset, Iowa, Kyle Randles (Jessica) and their children, Kayla and Presley of Memphis, Tennessee, and Ben Randles (Christine) and their children Lucy and Wyatt of Germantown, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Arthur Randles, Jr.; parents, Edith and Jesse Lewis; and grandson, Adam Randles. Services will be held in Des Moines, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to Faith Presbyterian Church, 8816 Poplar Pike, Germantown, Tennessee 38138.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
