Betty "Chris" Pulley's Obituary
BETTY “Chris” PULLEY, 71, of Collierville, died May 21, 2011 at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital. She was a retired teacher from Memphis City Schools and a teacher at Shrine School. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Chapel, enjoyed traveling the world, was an avid reader and a member of Kappa Delta Pi. Spending time with her family was her true joy. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 24 from 12 Noon until service at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Pulley, Sr. and her parents, Doyle H. and Allie Richmond. She leaves her daughter, Pamela Brown; son, Robert E. Pulley, Jr. and his wife DeEdra; brothers, Doyle E. Richmond; grandchildren, Keirsten Brown, Adam Pulley, and Katie Pulley. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
