Betty Jean Graves Price's Obituary
Betty Jean Graves Price, 79, of Arlington, TN, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
Born in Memphis, TN, Betty was a lifelong Memphian that held deep love for her community and city that she called home her entire life.
Above all else, Betty was deeply involved in the lives of her family. She was a devoted mother and wife. Her kindness, dedication, and steady support will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and an unwavering devotion that will continue to live on through all of those who cherished her. She is remembered for always being present and taking her sons to their games. She adored her 2 sons and watching them play sports. She was an avid follower of the Memphis Tigers basketball team; even traveling to watch them play. She never missed a home game at the Mid-South Coliseum.
Betty found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed spending quiet hours watching her favorite television programs, reading books, and playing video poker. She was the President and Owner of Horizon Facility Services in Memphis, TN, where she managed the business, right alongside her family.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Virginia Nowell Graves.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Charles Jack Price; sons, Scott Price and Tommy Price (Megan); grandchildren, Colin Price, Bridget Price, Connor Price, and Christopher Price; sisters, Barbara Young and Carolyn Armour; and brother, James Graves.
The visitation for Mrs. Price will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The funeral service will take place following visitation beginning at 2:00 PM.
