Very sad. She was a great teacher and a beautiful person she made quite an impact on me and I remembrr her even 40 or so years later.

I grew up in Marked Tree, Arkansas and my families back yard backed up to the McGill’s, so I’ve known Betty Lu all my life. She was such a fun, kind person. When my Mom was in a nursing home in Memphis during her final years, Betty Lu would visit her often and always brought her a little gift, candy or lotion, etc. She was so generous.
