Miss Betty was one of the most beautiful,and kind people I’ve ever met. I’m so lucky that I got to meet my cousin a couple of years ago. Betty was so welcoming, and she really made me feel like I belonged to the family. She raised a beautiful family, that I got to experience for the first time at Thanksgiving 2022. After our first meeting, and before I left, Tennessee, she asked me if I knew God and if I went to church. I had an address notebook in my hands, and she had just filled all her information out. I took it from her, and showed her the front few pages. It was about the current Bible study I was doing. She really was proof of Gods love. Her leadership, and love to her family was very obvious. She also showed how very much Texan she was, and that made me feel even more at home. She was beautiful inside and out. I’m so fortunate to have gotten to meet her. My thoughts, and prayers are with; John, Terri, and their families.
