Betty Fava's Obituary
Betty Fava, 68, passed away on May 13, 2013. She was raised in the Serbian Orthodox Religion. Mrs. Fava graduated from Edinborough State University. Mrs. Fava was a retired teacher from Alexandria Virginia School System. She was a teacher who loved to teach. While living in the Memphis area, she did volunteer work for the Memphis Literacy Council teaching adults to read. Mrs. Fava loved gardening, dancing, and classical music. She is survived by her husband Anthony Fava, her mother, Sofia Prodonovich, and her brother, Paul Prodonovich (Patricia) of Hagerstown, MD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Smiley, and her staff at the West Clinic, and Crossroads Hospice for her excellent care. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Charitable contributions can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
