Betty Pryor Cashon's Obituary
Betty Pryor Cashon, 90, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at home. She was born in Mayfield, KY to John Brown Pryor and Allison Elaine Clark, she was one of 9 siblings. Mrs. Cashon was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Howard Cashon, sister, Lillian Bazzell, and brother, John, Jack, and George Pryor. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Cashon Daniel (Tom); grandsons, Brian Daniel (Donna) and Kevin Daniel (Stef); granddaughters, Leah, Mallory, and Ava; sisters, Mary Ann Cates of Venice, FL, Nancy Riley (Joe) of Mayfield, KY and Carolyn Haley (Chloris) of Brewer, KY and her constant companion Boston Terrier, Candy. Mrs. Cashon graduated from Baptist School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She worked 44 years in the nursing profession. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing bridge and was an avid reader. The family would like to thank Braxton Home Care and Crossroads Hospice for their loving care they provided. Visitation with the family will be from 9 a.m. until her funeral service begins at 10 a.m. Monday, March 13 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
