Betty Eudell Bennett's Obituary
Betty Eudell Bennett, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the age of 91.
Born June 8, 1934, in Memphis, Tennessee, Betty was a lifelong resident of the city she cherished. She attended Messick High School and developed a lifelong love for music. She loved to sing and play the piano, often filling her home with hymns and laughter.
Betty dedicated her life to her family, creating a warm and welcoming home where faith, love, and togetherness thrived. She was kind to her family and always found joy in simple moments—morning coffee and sharing time with loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Willis Bennett, and is survived by her three sons: Rodney, the oldest, his wife Lisa, and their two children Sabrina and Brent; James Bennett; and Glenn Bennett, the youngest, his wife Barbara, and his three children Meredith, Megan, and Adrian.
Her family will forever cherish her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and the music she brought into their lives.
A memorial service celebrating Betty’s life will be held Saturday, October 11, at 11:00 a.m. at Bellevue Baptist Church.
“In her hands was music, in her heart was love, and in her life was family.”
