Bettie Jolly's Obituary
Bettie Mae Watts Jolly, 81, passed away on December 2, 2015 due to a series of complications from surgery. She was recently preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Myron Jolly just this past October. She was born in Memphis, TN on August 30, 1934 to Mary Priscilla and Jack Watts. She graduated from Messick High School. She retired from American Airlines after 30 years, where she was a ticket agent. She is survived by her children, Myra E. Jolly (Margie Brazelton), William D. Jolly (Roberta), Pam Jolly Haile (Dan), and Kathy Jolly Hatcher (Steve); grandchildren, Danna and Jake Haile, Melissa Croslow and Thomas Hatcher, and Jessica Jolly; and great-grandchild, Samuel D. Croslow. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, December 4 and funeral services will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, December 5 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Bettie’s greatest legacy is her passion for bringing people together. She would love nothing more than for you to join us in celebration of her beautiful, fully-lived life. The family requests memorial donations be sent to the American Heart Association.
