Berniece Scheel's Obituary
Berniece G. Scheel went home to be with Jesus on November 11, 2021. She was born April 22, 1934 in West Ridge, Arkansas to Jake and Jessie Lee Griggs. She was married to Charles H. Scheel for 57 years who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Eugene, Howard and Jerry Griggs and her only sister, Jane Hansard.
She leaves three (3) daughters: Caren Whitaker (Gordon), Titus Mason (Tim), and Pam Hollis (Jeff) and her son Charles T. Scheel (Debbie); three (3) granddaughters: Caren Hill, Rachel Mason, and Ashley Coleman (Jacob) and 2 grandsons: Charles R. Scheel (Kirsten) and Travis Whitaker (Racheal) and 4 great-grandchildren. She leaves two (2) sister-in-law’s and she was the favorite aunt to many of her 30 nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Ellendale Baptist Church, an expert seamstress and loved by many.
