Poppy , as we affectionately called aunt Bernice Travis. Will always be remembered as a great aunt, and sister to our mom: Mattie Laura Jordan. She and Uncle Bob visited us as children on through adulthood. She took me for bus rides in memphis when I was only 4 years old, dressed in my yellow dress with an orange ducky on the front. She attended holy convocation with me. I love her very much. Renee, Ronald, Rowland. My prayers are with you and your dad: Uncle Bob. Heaven is now her home.

On the most treasured day in my life, Granny, hands down, had the best time! I’ll never forget the way she squeezed my hand in this picture. A thousand words could never express the love I felt.
