Bernice Wilson H Mount's Obituary
Bernice Wilson Mount, 96, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2022. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and a 12-year resident of Kirby Pines Retirement Community. She was the youngest of four children born to Walter David Heddy and Lottie Viola Heddy.
Bernice was preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon Fowlkes Wilson in 1955. Her second husband, Horace Mount passed away in 2010. She is survived by her children, Sandra Hayne (Ronald), Glenda Miller, Mary Peeler (Owen), Sylvia Mount and the late Thomas Mount. She leaves 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
She spent her life serving Jesus and taught her children about Him from a young age. She is with Jesus and what a comfort, joy, and peace this brings to the family. Her enduring legacy is that knowing Jesus is our eternal hope.

Visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 12:00 noon to 1:30 on Thursday November 10, 2022. Following the visitation, interment and graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm at Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Kirby Pines Foundation.
